Today I attended a 3-hour workshop with Christian Pisano and his wife June Whittaker Pisano, and gained more insights to my own practice and some powerful whilst cheerful ideas for teaching.
It was a great pleasure. Christian has been an Iyengar practitioner for over thirty years and is one of only three teachers worldwide to hold the Advanced Senior Intermediate Teachers’ certificate given by BKS Iyengar. He lives in Nice with his wife June who came with him to teach and is herself a Senior teacher. I really felt inspired by the depth of their practice.
Next week we have more classes, and I'm excited to share the fruits of a master's knowledge with all my students.
